Marketing Officer

Marketing Officer is responsible for driving revenue generation, client acquisition, and market engagement across Del-York Group business units. The role focuses on promoting and selling the Group’s products, services, programs, events, and strategic initiatives while ensuring the achievement of monthly sales and revenue targets. The ideal candidate is commercially driven, target-oriented, and proactive, with strong marketing, sales, and relationship management skills. The individual must be capable of identifying business opportunities, generating leads, converting prospects, and supporting the Group’s overall growth and profitability objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue generation through the promotion and sale of Del-York Group products, services, programs, events, and strategic initiatives.
  • Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and business development targets.
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities, clients, sponsors, and strategic partnerships.
  • Generate leads and actively follow up on prospects to increase client acquisition and business conversion rates.
  • Support the execution of marketing and business development strategies aimed at increasing profitability and market expansion.
  • Promote the Group’s academy programs, communications services, events, productions, consulting services, and creative solutions across target markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, corporate organizations, government agencies, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Support proposal preparation, sponsorship acquisition, presentations, and business pitches.
  • Execute marketing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms to drive audience engagement and lead generation.
  • Support digital marketing activities including social media promotions, content marketing, email campaigns, and online audience engagement.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with communications, creative, strategy, and project teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and commercial objectives.
  • Track leads, conversions, campaign performance, and revenue performance metrics for reporting and decision-making purposes.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly business development and marketing performance reports.
  • Represent the Group at networking events, business meetings, exhibitions, activations, and promotional engagements to drive visibility and business opportunities.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging and professionalism across all customer and stakeholder interactions.
  • Support the implementation of initiatives that improve customer engagement, client retention, and business sustainability.
  • Carry out other marketing, sales, and business development responsibilities assigned by management.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Mass Communication, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing, sales, business development, or revenue-generating roles.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales or revenue targets.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
  • Experience in digital marketing and lead generation is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong networking and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Good understanding of branding, marketing strategy, and customer engagement principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and digital communication platforms.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented with strong execution capability
