Marketing Lead

The Marketing Lead is responsible for driving commercial growth, revenue generation, and market expansion across all Del-York Group business units. The role will lead strategic marketing and business development initiatives focused on promoting, positioning, and selling the Group’s products, services, programs, projects, and creative solutions across local and international markets.

The ideal candidate must possess strong commercial acumen, strategic marketing expertise, and proven business development capabilities with the ability to identify opportunities, convert leads, build strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable revenue growth. The role requires a highly driven professional capable of translating brand visibility into measurable business outcomes.

The individual will work across the Group’s ecosystem including communications, creative services, academy programs, media production, consulting, events, technology, and development initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute revenue-driven marketing and business development strategies for all Del-York Group business units and offerings.
  • Drive commercial growth by identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities across corporate, government, development, entertainment, education, technology, and creative sectors.
  • Lead the marketing and sales positioning of the Group’s products, services, training programs, events, consulting solutions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop strategies to increase market penetration, customer acquisition, partnership opportunities, and revenue generation across all business verticals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, development organizations, investors, sponsors, and strategic partners.
  • Lead proposal development, presentations, business pitches, sponsorship acquisition, and partnership negotiations for the Group.
  • Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns that drive visibility, lead generation, audience engagement, and conversion.
  • Translate the Group’s strategic priorities into commercially viable marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with communications, creative, digital, strategy, and project teams to ensure marketing efforts align with business goals and brand positioning.
  • Drive the commercial promotion of Del-York Creative Academy programs, communications services, events, development projects, and other Group initiatives.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships that expand the Group’s market reach, influence, and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, competitor activities, and industry opportunities to support strategic business decisions.
  • Develop and manage sales pipelines, lead generation systems, and client relationship management processes to improve business conversion rates.
  • Prepare revenue forecasts, business development reports, marketing performance reports, and commercial insights for executive leadership.
  • Work closely with leadership teams to establish annual revenue targets, growth objectives, and performance metrics.
  • Drive sponsorship and commercial partnership opportunities for events, initiatives, productions, and special projects across the Group.
  • Oversee brand and marketing initiatives to ensure they contribute directly to commercial growth, audience expansion, and business sustainability.
  • Represent Del-York Group at industry events, conferences, networking sessions, business meetings, and strategic engagements to drive visibility and business opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the marketing and business development team, ensuring strong execution, accountability, innovation, and high performance.
  • Drive the achievement of annual business, revenue, and growth targets while implementing strategies that consistently position the Group to exceed expectations year-on-year.

Skills and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Sales, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or professional certification in Marketing, Sales, Business Development, or Strategy is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years’ experience in marketing, business development, sales, or commercial strategy roles.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation, client acquisition, and business growth.
  • Strong experience in integrated marketing, strategic partnerships, sponsorship acquisition, and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience working within media, communications, creative, education, consulting, entertainment, technology, or related industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, digital marketing, and market expansion strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert marketing efforts into measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, networking, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic, and growth-driven environment.
