Key Account Manager 

The Key Account Manager focused on executing the management of the  agency’s clients and brands by nurturing client relationships, ensuring the  development and the successful execution of PR, Marketing &  Communication strategies and campaigns. This role requires entrepreneurial  skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects  simultaneously while overseeing projects from inception to completion. You will  work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing/sales,  Communications, Creative, Events. The role delivers an exceptional level of  client service and strategic/creative thinking, as well as, having an active role  in driving efficiency and leading growth across all the categories.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining  strong, long-lasting relationships. 
  • Understand clients’ business needs and objectives, providing strategic  counsel to help them achieve their goals. 
  • Regularly meet with clients to discuss ongoing projects, gather  feedback, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling  additional services. 
  • Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and  providing solutions to any issues that may arise. 
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of PR, marketing, and  communication campaigns, ensuring they are completed on time,  within scope, and on budget. 
  • Track and report on project financials, including budgeting, forecasting,  and invoicing, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and manage budgets  effectively.  Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, creative,  production, events, media and communications teams, to ensure  seamless project execution. 
  • Coordinate with media outlets and influencers to secure coverage and  placements that align with the campaign objectives, ensuring maximum  visibility and engagement. 
  • Ensure all campaign deliverables meet the highest quality standards  and are consistent with the brand’s messaging and goals. 
  • Monitor project performance, using analytics and KPIs to track progress  and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports and updates to  clients and internal stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategic communication plans that  align with their business objectives. 
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy  development and identify new opportunities for clients. 
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and pitches for new  business opportunities, working closely with the business  development/sales team. 
  • Work with the creative team to develop compelling content, press  releases, and marketing materials that resonate with target audiences. 
  • Oversee the execution of digital marketing initiatives, including social  media, SEO, email marketing, and online advertising. 

Qualifications/Skills 

  • 5+ years proven experience in account management, client services,  or a related role within the PR, marketing, or communications industry. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations,  Business, or a related field. 
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing and communication  strategies, with experience in digital and traditional media.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, analytical and interpersonal  skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced  environment. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, as well as CRM  systems. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make  informed decisions. 
  • Leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and guide teams  toward successful project completion. 
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and events, local and international  media, best practices, and emerging marketing, writing, and  communication technologies.
