Throughout his career, Nyimbi has led groundbreaking initiatives that have defined the digital landscape in Africa and beyond. As Chief Technology Officer of Nigeria’s Independent
National Electoral Commission, he orchestrated one of Africa’s largest IT projects, registering 73.5 million voters in a record-breaking timeframe, a feat that redefined election management. His tenure as Head of West Africa at Google saw him spearhead the Google
University Access Program, bringing high-speed internet to universities across West Africa,
catalyzing digital inclusion and educational transformation.
Nyimbi’s tenure as Advisor to Government of Kenya leading innovation and digitization at the
Ministry of ICT was marked by the successful implementation of the National Education
Management Information System (NEMIS) and the Ajira Digital Program, both of which
enhanced education access and created employment opportunities for millions. He led the development of the Kenya Judiciary automation process that has seen all aspects of judicial management and operations digitized across Kenya. His strategic vision and technical acumen have earned him recognition as a thought leader in technology-driven societal advancement.
In his current capacity at Del York Group, Nyimbi leads a dynamic organization at the

Nyimbi holds a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical Physics from the University of Nairobi and advanced education from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His technical
