Ikenna is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in strategy, business development, consulting, and project finance. He has a strong background in energy markets, particularly in the West African sub-region, and has worked with major global energy supply companies like Glencore, Vitol, Trafigura and Total. Ikenna has led several project finance transactions, including the acquisition of a 12,000-hectare oil palm estate and the takeover of a petroleum products refinery in Gabon.

He has also been involved in the privatization of power plants in Nigeria and has founded several companies, including Drake Alliance Projects Ltd. Recently, he led the acquisition of Afam Power Plant Plc and Afam Three Fast Power through the Unicorn Power Generation consortium. Ikenna is also the brains behind Africa’s first-ever OTC equities market for junior producers and marginal field asset holders, and he provides mentorship to Nigerian start-ups through his accelerator program.
