As the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) marked its 20th anniversary with a powerful call to action, Del-York Group stepped onto the global stage not just as a participant – but as a catalyst for transformative change across Africa. Against the backdrop of visionary conversations led by President Bill Clinton, Secretary Hillary Clinton, California Governor Gavin Newsom, Prime Minister Mia Mottley, and Nobel Laureate Maria Ressa, Day One of CGI 2025 set an urgent tone for inclusive progress. Amid this gathering of world leaders, changemakers, and innovators, Del-York unveiled Re-Skill Africa – a bold, forward-looking commitment that positions the continent’s youth at the heart of a new economic era.
With precision and purpose, Del-York Group announced Re-Skill Africa, an ambitious initiative designed to equip 1 million African youth by 2027 and 5 million by 2030 with future-ready skills through a uniquely integrated model combining AI-powered learning platforms, blockchain-verified credentials, and industry-aligned apprenticeships linked to growing SMEs. This is more than workforce development – it is nation-building through innovation, inclusion, and investment in human capital.
At its core, Re-Skill Africa reflects Del-York’s deep conviction: Africa’s greatest untapped resource is not minerals or markets – it is talent. And when that talent is nurtured, connected, and empowered, it becomes Africa’s most compelling value proposition to the global economy.

In announcing the commitment, Linus Idahosa, Group CEO of Del-York, stated:
“Africa’s youth are not waiting for the future – they are shaping it today. But potential without pathways leads only to lost promise. Through Re-Skill Africa, we’re building bridges between education, employment, and entrepreneurship – scalable, sustainable, and rooted in the realities of Africa’s dynamic economies. This is how we make Africa not just competitive, but investible.”
The launch was met with strong engagement from global partners, investors, and multilateral institutions attending CGI 2025 – many of whom recognized Re-Skill Africa as one of the most actionable and systems-changing commitments of the summit. By integrating digital infrastructure with creative economy ecosystems, Del-York demonstrated a replicable blueprint for job creation, skills alignment, and private-sector-led development.

Beyond the announcement, Day One offered strategic opportunities for Del-York to engage in high-level dialogues on artificial intelligence, ethical storytelling, impact-driven philanthropy, and resilient futures. These discussions reinforced a central truth: sustainable development requires both technological advancement and cultural authenticity – a balance Del-York has mastered across its ecosystem of ventures in media, technology, education, and venture building.
As CGI 2025 moves into Day Two, all eyes will be on Mr. Idahosa as he takes his place on the distinguished panel, “An Economic Future That Works for All.” There, he will articulate a vision where Africa’s creative industries serve as engines of inclusive growth, powered by digital transformation and a new generation of skilled innovators.

This moment is more than a milestone for Del-York – it is a declaration. A declaration that African companies can lead globally with purpose. That African youth are ready – not merely to participate, but to pioneer. And that with the right investments, partnerships, and policies, Africa’s next chapter will be written by its people, for the world.
Del-York Group isn’t just imagining that future. We’re building it – now.
